4-Color Process Signs and Graphics Disk Specifications For graphics that will be output at 36" x 36" or below, we prefer a minimum resolution of 150 dpi for actual size files and 300 dpi for files that will need to be scaled up. For graphics larger than 3 feet we prefer a minimum resolution of 150 dpi for actual size files and a minimum resolution of 600 dpi for files that will need to be scaled up. The better the resolution we start with, the better your final graphic will look.

Standard Disk Formats Accepted

PC Format – Zip 100, CD/DVD in the following file types:
	Illustrator CS3 or below PhotoShop CS3 or below Eps files or Tif files bmp files

If at all possible, AVOID JPEG files; print quality from jpegs is very poor.

Mac (Apple) Format – Although a PC-based operation, The Sign Place does accept Macintosh disks. We do ask however, that you keep your file names short, ensure they have the proper file extension and save your files in PC format whenever possible. (Please refer to the PC Format specifications list above.)
